(More customer reviews)I had no problems with putting the 310xt original strap on my wrist while I was biking, but I did have problems using the 310xt in water.So I got this quick release strap, and did not expect much.But I realized, when you take the original straps of the 310xt and attach the adapter, you can fit the watch into your swim cap, and actually get non zigzag GPS readings.It was also an easy transition from your wrist strap to bike mount or vice versa (duathlon).I have not used it in triathlons yet.The other review was right about the strap's design, it is not as thick, durable as the original 310xt strap, its quite thin, almost like a SWATCH strap, but it seems to be okay.As far as locking in your 310xt, I don't think that will be a problem with this design, you have to twist and lock it in place, and there is no way the watch is coming off the wrist strap or bike mount, unless it is hit really hard from the side, at an angle, with such force that will probably tear the wrist strap first.I mean, its not coming off.I hope this helps.Garmin Quick release kit
