The neoprene on unlined types tend to allow sweat to build up and give me a rash behind my knee but not this one. The extra padding on the front is another smart addition that protects against bumping knees when playing sports (like basketball). I thought I might need an XL but the large fit me just right.Here are the sizes when measuring around your knee:
