(More customer reviews)Like the other reviewer, I thought these looked like a fun and different workout.I'd bought these from Barnes & Noble before I saw the review.Had I seen it, I probably wouldn't have bought them, but now I'm glad I did.I also have low profile carpet.When I first pulled the sliders out of the box, they didn't slide very well.I've used them 5 times now and have no more problems.I guess there was a manufacturing residue still on the sliders that prevented them from moving well, and after a few uses, they work great.The only thing to be careful of is that residue does leave a light mark on very light carpet (mine is off-white and I can just barely see some dark marks).It's nothing that a little spray-on carpet cleaner can't fix.

As far as the workout goes, it's definitely nice. The workout is exactly 35 minutes.During the exercises, modifications are offered to make them either easier or more challenging.The better your technique is, the better/more effective the workout will be.It's a typical pilates workout, and the more you work, the more you will sweat.For a complete beginner, this would be adequate, and even for those more advanced, it would be good.I'm closer to the beginner end of the scale, although not a complete beginner.I find that she does a great job of explaining how to do the exercises as she goes.My only problem is I'm a little clumsy and occasionally have trouble getting the band straightened out and situated quickly enough, but it's not a hindrance to the workout.The video is a good workout, although you won't realize it until later - or if you try to do the video a second time in a row :)

I am very pleased with this and am glad I bought it.If you enjoy pilates or are looking for something a little different, give this a try.
